Welcome to Ballinger Elementary PTO!
The Ballinger Elementary PTO is open to all parents of students enrolled at BES! We are always welcoming new members! We are ran by a 5 member board and have two mass meetings a year, one in the fall and one in the spring. Ballinger Elementary PTO is an organization for parents, teachers, and staff to collectively support our school community.
The PTO has numerous activities in which parents can get involved. Information on these events are discussed at the mass meetings and signup sheets are sent home with every student prior to the event. Some of our most popular events include the Fall and Spring Can Drives, Fall Festival in October, Teacher Appreciation activities in May and also the Little Olympics concession stand in May.
The BES PTO has been responsible for the purchase of many items that staff, students and parents all benefit from. Small purchases that the PTO makes throughout the year are muffins for Muffins with Mom, donuts for Donuts with dad, Field Trip donations, etc. The PTO has made some larger purchases as well. The purchase of the electric marquee several years ago has been one of our major contributions. We have also purchased new playground equipment and the gaga pits on the front playground. Our current project is building a dismissal awning for the 4th and 5th graders. Every year we donate items to the school that the teachers use in their classrooms and help your children grow.
